During October 2008, the Peres Center for Peace will mark ten years of peacebuilding activities, bringing together distinguished regional and international guests to create a new agenda for peace.

The nurturing of a culture of peace is dependent upon the involvement of the grassroots populations, as well as the encouragement of the international community. NOW is the time to come together and demonstrate our collective support for reconciliation and a new future path. NOW is the time to create a resounding call for peace.

Since the establishment of the Peres Center for Peace, and throughout the ongoing conflict, the Peres Center has relentlessly pursued an innovative range of peacebuilding initiatives targeted at Israel and her Arab neighbors, with an emphasis on Israeli-Palestinian relations, demonstrating the will of the respective populations to jointly pursue peace.

The tenth anniversary event of the Peres Center for Peace is a tribute to past achievements, and even more so, a platform for reinforcing the partnership between two nations that share a common vision of peace.

This major event will be an unforgettable experience, inspiring all in attendance to build tomorrow's peace.
